This course covers elements of design and production of handcrafted jewelry, small sculpture, and functional objects in metals and other media, including centrifugal casting (of "lost wax" and other organic models), gas and electric welding, and forging techniques. Students will work in construction (with sheet, wire, and other media). (6 billable contact hrs)
