ACCT-2150 — Computer Accounting Quickbooks

This is an introductory course in the application of basic accounting knowledge and theory in QuickBooks Pro software. Topics include creating a chart of accounts, recording customer and vendor transactions, processing payroll, and creating reports. In addition, students will learn how to set up a new company. This course builds upon knowledge of basic accounting principles. Upon successful completion of the course, students will have the requisite knowledge to pass the QuickBooks exam and become certified as a QuickBooks Certified User (QBCU). (4 billable contact hrs)
