This course provides an experiential learning opportunity in select practice settings. The student will integrate nursing research knowledge, leadership, management, and nursing theories to design, implement, or lead a project, that will improve patient outcomes, and facilitate the transition to baccalaureate practice. This course requires students to complete a Capstone project with an approved clinical preceptor/partner. The student will also complete written assignments and activities related to his/her project. This course can only be taken during the last semester of the RN to BSN program. The Capstone project will be based on a mutual agreement between the student, faculty member, and the clinical preceptor/partner.
