Nursing Associate in Applied Science

An ACEN-accredited program that prepares students to become Registered Nurses (RN) in two years. The four-semester curriculum focuses on patient-centered care, professionalism, and evidence-based practice, qualifying graduates to take the NCLEX exam in the State of Michigan. The program emphasizes developing technical skills and clinical judgment to provide primary care across various healthcare settings, including hospitals, clinics, and nursing homes. Graduates may pursue further education to earn a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) through LMC's institutional partnerships.

Prerequisites: LMC application for admission, High school diploma or GED, Be at least 18 years old, SAT/ACT scores or Accuplacer Assessment, CHEM 104, BIOL 205, MATH 122 or 123, HEAL 121, ENGL 101, BIOL 206, HESI A2 exam with a score of 75% minimum, Overall GPA of 2.50 or higher, TOEFL iBT Test (for ESL students only)
