An introduction to various roles and responsibilities of a pharmacy technician. Students will learn communication and interpersonal skills, professional attitudes and behaviors, a methodical, detail-oriented approach to tasks, and a high standard of ethical conduct. Compliance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) is also covered. Corequisites: BIOL 110 and HEAL 101 and HEAL 103
