Utilizing a systematic and multidisciplinary approach, students in the course will explore mental health concepts in the classroom, clinical and simulation environment. Using effective communication, students will manage care for culturally diverse individuals, families, and significant others. Students, as future members of the nursing profession, will accept accountability for the ethical, legal, and professional dimensions of nursing practice.
