Designed for early childhood and elementary education majors and assuming little or no musical background, this course will develop skill in the teaching and the performing of music in the classroom setting. Students will develop fundamental musical skills, organize and develop musical activities and lesson plans, as well as explore the integration of music across the curriculum and in specialized areas. Prerequisites: ENGL 101 (may be taken concurrently)
