This course provides students with the opportunity to perform a wide range of jazz literature, including swing, bebop, Latin, fusion and contemporary styles. Emphasis will be placed on ensemble playing, improvisation, phrasing, rhythm, and articulation. Prerequisites: Audition required; contact Visual and Performing Arts Department Chair.
