Designed for current or potential small business owners or managers, small business management focuses on activities critical to a thriving small business. The course contrasts managerial activities of large firms to those of small business with limited resources. Emphasis is placed on planning, realistic business forecasting, capitalization, cash-flow management, insurance, and risk assessment. Students will also address concepts critical to operations management, employee selection, business formation, and legal fundamentals. Prerequisites: None
