EKG Technician

Jackson College's HOC 135 Electrocardiography Technician course trains students to become certified EKG Technicians. The curriculum covers heart anatomy, electrocardiography science, EKG machine operation, hands-on EKG performance, and rhythm analysis. Upon completion, students are eligible to sit for the Certified EKG Technician (CET) exam through the National Healthcareer Association (NHA). Credits may also be applied toward the Allied Health – General Studies degree for further career advancement in healthcare fields such as cardiology, medical assisting, or healthcare administration.
