Jackson College's Electrician program provides hands-on training in electrical installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting. Students work with electrical circuits, wiring methods, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs) while applying National Electric Code (NEC) standards and safety regulations. Two credential options are available: a Certificate offering foundational skills for entry-level positions or apprenticeship preparation, and an Associate in Applied Science (AAS) degree preparing graduates for advanced roles in construction, manufacturing, and automation, including industrial electrician, electrical maintenance technician, and automation specialist positions.
