Jackson College's Cardiac Sonography program trains students to operate ultrasonic imaging devices to produce diagnostic images and data. Didactic coursework is delivered online, allowing students to live near their clinical site. All students must complete an on-campus pre-clinical lab and a clinical externship requiring 32 hours per week for approximately 9 months. The program is CAAHEP accredited, enabling graduates to sit for national ARDMS registry boards. Admission is competitive and evaluated through a numerical point system based on academic records.
