The Associate of Applied Science in Nursing (AAS-N) consists of integrated lectures, labs, and clinicals conducted in approved clinical education affiliates. It prepares students to demonstrate competency in providing nursing care across a variety of healthcare settings and for employment in registered nursing. Graduates are eligible to apply for the NCLEX-RN licensing examination required for licensure as a registered professional nurse. The program is approved by Michigan Licensing and Regulatory Affairs (LARA) and accredited by the National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA).
