The Jackson College General Sonography program is a CAAHEP-accredited associate degree program preparing students for certification through the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography. It is a second-admit, competitive program with admission based on a point system. Applications are due January 31st for a Summer semester start. Coursework is delivered online, with a required in-person clinical component. Clinical placements are based on site availability and geography, currently limited to affiliated sites in Indiana, Michigan, and Tennessee. Students must be willing to relocate if no site is available within commuting distance.
