Surgical Technology

The Surgical Technology Program prepares entry-level surgical technologists in cognitive, psychomotor, and affective learning domains. Students gain academic and clinical training to sit for the national surgical technology certification examination. The curriculum covers medical terminology, human physiology, surgical anatomy, pharmacology, surgical aseptic technique, surgical procedures, and patient care. The program emphasizes high ethical conduct, professional standards, and lifelong commitment to professional development.
