REL 1300 — Introduction to World Religions

In th i s course, students acquire knowledge of prominent religious traditions and readings from the Western canon, including Judaism and Christianity. Islam, Hinduism, Taoism, Confucianism, and Buddhism are also explored. Students demonstrate college-level writing skills through multiple assignments that survey the ideas, historical routes, and social implications of world religions.
