In this course, students explore the physical therapy profession with emphasis on the role and responsibilities of the physical therapist assistant in patient/client management. Students familiarize themselves with the principles of professionalism, ethical conduct, medical terminology, cultural diversity and communication skills specific to the physical therapy profession.
