MCB 2010 — Microbiology for Health Sciences

In this course, students survey the structure, physiology, genetics, metabolism, and control of microorganisms, including an overview of the medical importance of bacteria, protozoans, multicellular parasites, and viruses. Students explore host–parasite interactions, along with nonspecific and specific immunity.

Prerequisites: BSC 1020, BSC 1020L, BSC 2010, BSC 2010L, BSC 2085, BSC 2085L
