In this course, students acquire basic life support theory and skills required to recognize, assess, plan, and provide basic management of acutely ill and injured patients. Students participate in a combination of classroom discussions, and scenario-based applications. Requires acceptance to the EMT program. Students must maintain EMT program eligibility throughout the course.
