EET 1025C — AC Circuits

3 credits · 3 hours

In this course, students learn the fundamental theories of AC circuits, emphasizing circuit operation and troubleshooting. Topics include AC voltage theory, inductive and capacitive reactance, transformers, series RCL circuits, parallel RCL circuits, resonance, capacitor and inductor pulse response. Students learn to evaluate circuit parameters such as frequency, period, voltage peaks, and phase relationships using signal generators and digital storage oscilloscopes.
