In this course, students build on clinical dental hygiene skills. Student continue with the development and competency of clinical skills. Students provide increasingly comprehensive services to patients including assessment, recare, motivation, and patient education. Students also provide dental care for special needs patients. Students perform adjunctive techniques utilizing ultrasonic scaling devices and air polishers.
