Continues to explore the role of the sonographer in a simulated as well as an actual clinical environment. This course is de- signed to expose the student to the role and responsibilities of a clinical sonographer in the hospital situation by allowing ob- servation of the sonographer in daily hospital routine. The stu- dent will begin the initial phase of instruction in scanning protocols. The student will spend eight clock hours a week in the clinical and/or laboratory setting.
