SCM 2270 — Transportation and Distribution

This course explores the role and importance of transportation in the distribution of goods. The course focuses on the infra- structure of the freight transportation system, modes of trans- portation, transportation regulations, and public policies. Students study carrier cost structures, operating characteristics, and policy regulations regarding each of the transportation modes. math skills are required.
