Designed to introduce the first year Radiography students to basic medical terminology/medical abbreviations, patient care procedures and general body mechanics needed for effective patient transfers (wheelchair/stretcher). Emphasis is placed on the importance of obtaining accurate patient information and the necessary required confidentiality as expressed in the Pa- tient's Bill of Rights.
