This is a course covering all aspects of normal cardiopulmo- nary physiology, and the effects of related systems. Topics in- clude respiratory anatomy, mechanics of breathing, arterial blood gases, pulmonary ventilation/perfusion relationships, gas transport mechanisms of blood, neurologic control of ven- tilation, cardiac and renal function, and respiratory adjust- ments in health and disease.
