RAT 2241 — Radiation Biology

This course presents basic concepts and principles of radiobiol- ogy including interactions of radiation with cells, tissues and the body as a whole, and resultant health effects. The theories and principles of tolerance dose, time-dose relationships, frac- tionation schemes and the relationship of these principles to the clinical practice of radiation therapy are discussed. College-level reading, writing, and math skills are required.
