This course is a continuation of Clinical Chemistry I and Uri- nalysis. Discussion of the chemistry tests performed on serum and plasma specimens will continue. Material covered in MLS 2624 on quality control principles will be reviewed. Enzyme kinetics, endocrinology, therapeutic drug monitoring and toxi- cology, liver and cardiac function will be discussed, as well as, principles of instrumentation and techniques in clinical chem- istry related to standardization of procedures, and use of standards and controls.
