This course will cover the foundational overview of the diag- nostic microbiological system, isolation and identification of clinically significant microorganisms. There will be an empha- sis on the growth characteristics and methodology for identifi- cation. Clinical laboratory diagnosis of infectious disease by serological test methods will be studied.
