This course provides instruction in developmental mathemati- cal concepts that serve as a foundation for liberal arts and sta- tistics. These mathematics concepts are presented in a context that is relevant and meaningful. This course emphasizes both written and verbal communication of mathematical concepts, and helps prepare the student for college-level statistics and liberal arts math courses.
