This course will build upon the student's understanding of digital design within the larger context of visual literacy and communication by expanding upon basic digital design pro- cesses and practices, particularly the differences between working in raster and vector-based media. The course will ex- plore visual and technical understanding of digital illustration in a vector based environment using software applications that are considered to be the industry standard.
