Focuses on hands-on experience in environmental sampling and analysis methods by assigning students to agencies or businesses for 150 hours per semester. Emphasis will be to gain practical experience in protocols, methods and use of equip- ment in an applied setting; includes the possibility of outdoor work and mildly strenuous skills such as carrying and lifting.
