This course introduces major water quality parameters and in- organic chemicals found in water bodies. Standard procedures and methods will be examined and applied toward the collec- tion and analysis of samples. Techniques for using sampling equipment and meters will be taught and applied in the lab and field, including proper calibration. Field and lab activities are a significant part of this class and will emphasize prepara- tion and organization.
