This course provides an overview of assessment concepts and practices, literacy assessment measures, and implications for instruction based on analysis of assessment data. In addition, the course will provide an opportunity to gain and demon- strate knowledge and skill in effective teaching and differenti- ating instruction to meet the academic needs of a variety of learners in the least restrictive environment.
