This course provides the fundamentals of geometric dimen- sioning and tolerancing (gd and t) as based on the American Society of Mechanical Engineers standard ASME Y14.5m 1994. The coverage of topics includes geometric tolerancing symbols and terms, the rules of geometric dimensioning and toleranc- ing, datums, material condition symbols, tolerances of form, profile, orientation and run-out, and location tolerances.
