This course will include the fundamentals of x-ray production and the specifications of the x-ray tube equipment, the interac- tion of ionizing radiation with biological systems, early and late effects of radiation exposure, with the principles of radia- tion protection. Additional topics include image intensifica- tion, digital flat plate technology and cineangiographic filming with quality control of the latent image.
