This course is an overview of the profession including basic skills and terminology related to historical development, cur- rent profession trends, professionalism, and professional code of ethics, professional organizations, patient confidentiality, in- fection control, asepsis, and basic cardiopulmonary patient as- sessment using electrocardiography, chest roentgenography, clinical laboratory tests, and vital signs.
