Provides students with the knowledge and skills required to install, configure, administer and troubleshoot a specific data- base management system (DBMS) in a client/server as well as web-based environment. Topics such as complex restoring of a database will be covered. Advanced concepts such as data warehousing, data mining and transaction processing will be covered. The course may be repeated one time for purposes of preparing the student as an administrator on a second data- base platform. Permission of instructor is required.
