CTS 2440 — Database Programming - SQL

This course covers the concepts of both relational and object re- lational databases using the SQL programming language. Stu- dents are taught to create and maintain database objects and to store, retrieve and manipulate data. Students learn to retrieve data by using advanced techniques, grouping operations and navigational retrieval. They also learn to write SQL queries to generate report-like output. Hands-on practice using assigned projects reinforce the fundamental concepts.
