Discrimination and disparities have long been points of inter- est and discontent in the field of criminal justice. This course looks on the impact of race and ethnicity, class, gender, and sexuality in criminal justice. These four factors affect the ad- ministration of justice for offenders, and also impact the career of the criminal justice professional. The goal of the course is to broaden our understanding of diversity and discrimination in criminal justice.
