This course builds upon the fundamental principles and ele- ments of art making, form and composition introduced in ART 1201C, and builds on their application to three dimensional space, both implied and practical. The nature of this transition inherently focuses on light and shadow. The student will be subjected to many lectures and projects concerning these ef- fects. Studio assignments are supplemented by class critique discussion and hands-on experimentation with various media.
