Through readings, discussions, and selected primary materials, including selections from the Western canon, this course examines the primitive and the living religions of Hinduism, Jainism, Sikhism, Buddhism, Confucianism, Taoism, Judaism, Shinto, Zoroastrianism, Islam, and Christianity, noting distinctions and similarities. This is a course for which students will produce extensive college- level writing and which requires completion with a minimum grade of "C." This course introduces the student to microbiology as it relates to the profession of respiratory therapy.
