MUL2110 — Survey of Music Literature

In this course, students will survey the history of Western music from antiquity to the modern period, including selections from the Western canon. Students will discuss and analyze music, while developing critical thinking skills in reading, writing, and listening. This course is intended for music majors who have completed MUT1111/MUT1241 and is designed to prepare students for upper-level music history and writing at the university level.
