. This course teaches students the significance of quality as a primary competitive strategy for tomorrow's successful business organizations using six sigma methodologies. The impact of quality focus on increasing customer satisfaction is changing the manner in which business organizations function. Students will recognize that quality focused business organizations are evolving into very different environments in which to work and manage. This quality imperative is relevant for both industrial and service sector organizations. Students will be exposed to the critical issues of total quality management through reading, case studies, class discussion, and outside speakers.
