Gogebic Community College's 2-year Associate Degree in Nursing prepares graduates to work as Registered Nurses in hospital and community settings. The program features interactive classrooms with certified faculty, hands-on lab and patient care simulation, and real-patient clinical experiences. Students may optionally earn LPN Certification after Year 1. Articulation agreements support RN-to-BSN transitions. Year 2 is based in Ironwood with hybrid classroom options. Accredited by NLN CNEA.
Prerequisites: Photo identification, background check, drug screen, immunizations, and valid SSN (clinical site requirement), Completion of BIO250, COL102, ENG101 or ENG105, PSY101 before admission within required timeframe and minimum grade, 3.0 GPA in BIO250, ENG101 or ENG105, and PSY101; proof of math competency, Current CNA Certification
