Advance Standing LPN to RN Program

Degree · 1 Year

Allows LPNs with a current unencumbered LPN license to enter the 2nd year of the nursing program and graduate with an Associate Degree in as little as 2 semesters. Students develop skills to care for acute and chronically ill patients in hospital and community settings. Features interactive classrooms, hands-on lab and simulation experiences, clinical rotations with real patients, and articulation agreements for smooth transition to RN-to-BSN programs. Program is based in Ironwood with hybrid classroom options. Accredited by the NLN CNEA.

Prerequisites: Photo Identification, background check, drug screen, and immunizations, Completion of pre-requisite classes before admission, within the required timeframe and minimum grade, 3.0 GPA in BIO 250, BIO 251, ENG 101, and PSY 101; proof of math competency, Current LPN licensure, Pre-admission requirements: COL102, BIO250, ENG101, and PSY101
