This course provides an overview of human anatomy and physiology with an emphasis on cardiopulmonary systems. Topics include respiratory mechanics, gas exchange, circulation, control of breathing, and cellular respiration. Structural and functional relationships are emphasized to establish a foundation for interpreting pathophysiology and clinical care.
