A course to help the non-science student become more scientifically literate with respect to our physical world. The course emphasis will include understanding principles of science, methods of doing science, develoopment of inquiry skills related to practical and environmental situations. Topics may include physical mechanics, energy, the atom, the structure of matter, and earth science.
