ANT 105 — Cultural Anthropology

Introduction to Cultural Anthropology will be a study of what it means to be human. The course will examine principles of social organization, and explore how languages effect cultural values. Applications of theory together with ethnographic examples will provide students with an understanding of diverse world-views and knowledge of contemporary issues in different societies. Topics such as: sexuality and gender, marriage and family, economics, religion, and politics will be investigated throughout the world.
