Machine Tool & Machining Certificates

Certificate · 1 Semester (full-time) or 5 Semesters (full-time)

Glen Oaks offers two certificate pathways in machining and CNC technology. The Machine Basics and Metrology Certificate (13 credits, 1 semester) covers manual machining, safety, and milling. The Machining Advanced and CNC Technology Certificate (27.5 credits, 5 semesters) adds CNC programming, GD&T, and precision inspection. Both feature hands-on lab instruction, qualify for financial aid and Michigan's Going PRO Talent Fund, and stack toward an AAS in Technology. Courses are also offered at Sturgis High School.
