Glen Oaks offers two stackable certificate programs in automotive technology. The Automotive Service Certificate (18 credits, 1 semester) covers entry-level maintenance including electrical systems, brake systems, and safety. The Automotive Technician Certificate (36 credits, 2–3 semesters) builds advanced diagnostic and repair skills including engine repair, HVAC, and advanced diagnostics. Both programs are taught by ASE-certified instructors using industry-standard tools and provide hands-on, lab-based training on domestic and import vehicles, preparing graduates for employment in southern Michigan and northern Indiana.
